Cheltenham is a Regency spa town on the edge of the Cotswolds, with a reputation as one of the smarter hen destinations in the south-west. Montpellier and The Suffolks are the quarters to know: terraces of Regency townhouses with independent bars, restaurants, delis and spas. The Promenade and Imperial Gardens link them to the town centre.
